Shahab Paranj (1983, Iran) has a Bachelor of Art in music from Tehran, Iran. He started playing Tombak from childhood. he learned music from master musicians such as Homayoun Shajaryan, Arjang kamkar and Kambiz Ganjei. Shahab is also a Violin cell player and a member Iranian television symphony orchestra. Shahab had the privilege of being student of master musicians like Majid Esmaili and Karim Ghorbani. He is a member of Shams Ensemble as well.

He has participated in many concerts with Shams Ensemble throughout the world including Iran, France, Netherlands, Iraq, China, India, Switzerland and U.S.A
